Wedding and Reception Policies The following policies have been established to help guide you when making decisions regarding your upcoming wedding at Peacock Road Tree Farm. Scheduling Weddings requiring rental of the entire farm (over 50 guests) may be scheduled for Saturday or Sunday only, June through November. Weddings may be scheduled during the daytime and must conclude by 10:00 p.m. Smaller weddings and receptions may be scheduled for other days during the week according to size and availability at the farm. As other groups may be using the same areas prior to or following your wedding and reception, please adhere to the times agreed upon. Should your time schedule change, please contact our wedding coordinator as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to accommodate changes in your schedule. Rehearsals Rehearsal and rehearsal dinners may be scheduled at the farm for the day prior to your wedding. The fee will be $25 plus food. Many bridal parties find this to be an excellent time to put up wedding decorations. Food & Beverages All menu planning must be completed within ten days of your wedding. Outside catering is permissible. Menu prices will not be guaranteed more than sixty day in advance. Alcoholic beverages are permit, but require the wedding sponsor to purchase insurance for this purpose. Many homeowner policies provide this option for a nominal fee. A copy of the policy must be provided. The on-site contact of the wedding reception is responsible for the conduct of all attendees. Smoking Policies All buildings on Peacock Road Tree Farm are smoke-free. Guests wishing to smoke may do so outside at least 5 feet from buildings. We reserve the right to ask guest not to smoke outside when conditions on the farm are dry. Damage Wedding sponsors are responsible for the protection of all buildings, equipment and furnishings both during preparations and during the wedding and reception. Damage or loss will be billed to the function sponsor. The on-site contact of the wedding reception is responsible for the conduct of all attendees. Wedding sponsors are responsible to provide a certificate of insurance for public liability and standard property damage ten days prior to the reservation date showing Peacock Road Tree Farm, LLC as an additional insured and a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability coverage. This certificate is easily obtained from your insurance company as a part of your homeowner policy. Our wedding coordinator will be happy to work with you and your insurance company on this matter. Security Peacock Road Tree Farm is not liable for loss, theft or damage to property belonging to wedding participants. Entertainment/Photographers Amplified music is allowed, but we reserve the right to request the sound be lowered to prevent violation of our local noise ordinance. Musicians, photographers, etc. will be booked by the person in charge of each event and will be solely their responsibility. We will be happy to assist in making contact arrangements. All musical entertainment must be pre-approved by the management of Peacock Road Tree Farm. Deposits and Cancellations At the time of the initial booking, a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required for weddings of 50 or fewer guests, a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit for 50 or more. Any outstanding balance is due ten days prior to your wedding date. Cancellation of the wedding results in forfeiture of all deposits made. Billing Billing will be based on the confirmed menu, which is due 10 days prior to your wedding. Within the 10-day period your confirmed order cannot decrease, but if you should find it necessary to increase the number of attendees, you may due so and we will do our best to accommodate the request. Peacock Road Tree Farm does accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
